TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 JEEP WRANGLER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH, THE STEERING ABILITY SEIZED AND THE TRACTION CONTROL WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE STEERING GEAR WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
