Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 FORD F-150. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE. WHILE AT THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, THE CONTACT WAS NOTIFIED THAT SEVEN OF THE EIGHT SPARK PLUGS IN THE VEHICLE WERE FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT ONE OF THE FRACTURED SPARK PLUGS REMAINED IN THE CYLINDER HEAD. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE CYLINDER HEAD HAD TO BE REMOVED FROM THE ENGINE TO REMOVE THE FRACTURED SPARK PLUG. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE; HOWEVER, THE CONTACT WAS NOT OFFERED A REMEDY FOR THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 84,000.
