Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 BMW 328D. THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED A COMPLETE LOSS OF POWER WHILE APPROACHING A STOP LIGHT AT 10 MPH. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE FAILURE WAS A RESULT OF A FAULTY FUEL PUMP THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED TWICE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,000.
