Consumer Description

THE ENGINE COOLING FAN ON MY 2008 CHRYSLER 300 (3.5L V6) SEPARATED/BLEW APART DURING THE FAN OPERATION AND CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE RADIATOR. THE FAN AND RADIATOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THERE IS A RECALL NOTICE ON THE ENGINE COOLING FANS FOR THE CHRYSLER 300 (2006-2008) AS LISTED ON THE NHTSA WEBSITE; HOWEVER, CHRYSLER CLAIMS THAT MY CAR (2008 CHRYSLER 300) IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE RECALL. THIS IS THE SAME ISSUE AS REPORTED BY OTHER CHRYSLER 300 DRIVERS.
