Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 NISSAN VERSA. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO ENGAGE THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 37,000. MA 08/10/15 THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WOULD STOP SUDDENLY IN TRAFFIC AND NEEDED TO BE RESTARTED. UPDATED 11/30/2015 *JS
