TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 FORD FREESTYLE. WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED UNINTENDED ACCELERATION. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE SPEED SUDDENLY ACCELERATED TO 65 MPH ALTHOUGH THE DRIVER DID NOT ENGAGE THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED, BUT NO INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
