TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 GMC ENVOY. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH, THE HEADLIGHTS SHUT OFF INDEPENDENTLY AND RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION AFTER THE VEHICLE WAS RESTARTED. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V755000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING); HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 110,000. UPDATED 8/19/15*CN THE CONSUMER STATED NUMEROUS DEALERS WERE CONTACTED BUT, NONE HAD PARTS AVAILABLE TO PERFORM THE REPAIR. UPDATED 9/30/15*JS
