Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HONDA ODYSSEY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE IGNITION SWITCH FAILED. THE TWO ORIGINAL KEYS AND ONE ADDITIONAL KEY FAILED TO TURN AND WOULD BECOME STUCK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE SHIFT INTER LOCK LEVER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT ASKED ABOUT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V573000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 51,256.
