Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 INFINITI G35. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING LAMP FLASHED AND INDICATING A MALFUNCTION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 08V521000 (AIR BAGS AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE AUTHORIZED DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE SEAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED AS WELL AS THE SENSOR WHICH FAILED WITHIN THE SEAT CUSHION CONTAINING OCS HARDWARE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,000. UPDATED 7/21/15*CN
