Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 BUICK ENCLAVE. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE MADE A LOUD BUMPING NOISE THAT CEASED AS THE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER, WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE BLOWING CONNECTOR ROD AND THE ENGINE BLOCK FRACTURED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,985.
