TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 GMC YUKON. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE CONTACT NOTICED FUEL LEAKING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SENDING UNIT FOR THE FUEL PUMP RUSTED AND FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06E043000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
