Consumer Description

WHILE EXITING GARDEN STATE PARKWAY, VEHICLE WAS COASTING GOING THROUGH THE OFF RAMP TURN WITH BRAKES APPLIED. ENGINE RPM WAS AT LOW IDLE AND THE POWER STEERING SUDDENLY AND WITH OUT WARNING STOP WORKING. IT WAS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO TURN THE WHEEL AND VEHICLE BEGAN TO LEAVE THE ROADWAY AND DRIVE ONTO THE GRASS. IT TOOK AN INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF STRENGTH TO TURN THE WHEEL AND STAY ON THE AND AVOID CRASHING INTO THE TREES. GMC AND THE NHTSA KNOWS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM.
