Consumer Description

I WAS AT A BUSY INTERSECTION WITH MY 19 MONTH OLD SON AT 5:00PM ON FRIDAY, MARCH 27, 2015 WHEN MY CAR JUST DIED ON ME. AFTER HAVING IT TOWED TO A NON GMC SERVICE STATION, THEY INFORMED ME THAT I HAD NO OIL IN MY CAR. I WAS TAKEN BACK BY THIS BECAUSE IT HAD NOT EVEN BEEN 1500 MILES SINCE MY LAST OIL CHANGE AND I HAD NO WARNING AT ALL, MY OIL LIGHT OR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT NEVER CAME ON IN MY CAR BEFORE IT DIED. I HAVE BEEN MORE THAN UP TO DATE ON EVERY OIL CHANGE SINCE I HAVE OWNED THE CAR IN SEPTEMBER OF 2013. DUE TO NO OIL IN MY CAR, THERE WAS EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE RESULTING IN ME HAVING TO REPLACE THE ENGINE IN MY CAR. GMC INFORMED ME THAT THIS IS NOT A RECALL AND IT SHOULD BE!!! THIS IS COMPLETELY DANGEROUS AND GMC WILL NOT REIMBURSE ME FOR THE ENGINE THAT I HAVE TO PUT IN MY CAR EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS NOT CAUSED BY ME. *TR
