TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHEVROLET HHR. AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS, THE KEY RELEASED FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V047000 (AIR BAGS, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) HOWEVER, THE PART NEEDED WAS UNAVAILABLE TO PERFORM THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
