Consumer Description

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE, THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FAILED TO WORK. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT AFTER PUTTING THE SEATBELT ON, THE SEATBELT WARNING LAMP FLICKERED AS WELL AS VARIOUS WARNING LAMPS AND GAUGES. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL SHORT IN WHICH THE LOW BEAM AS WELL AS THE REAR TAIL LIGHTS SHORTED WITH NO WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INSPECTED OR DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 38,000.
