TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CADILLAC SRX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT LESS THAN 5 MPH AND ATTEMPTING TO PARK, THERE WAS SMOKE AND MASSIVE FLAMES ERUPTING FROM UNDERNEATH THE PASSENGER'S SIDE HOOD. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EXTINGUISHED THE FIRE. THE CONTACT DID NOT DISCLOSE IF A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED OR NOT. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE.
