Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING COLUMN BECAME LOOSE AND THE STEERING WHEEL MADE A NOISE EACH TIME THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER, WHO REPLACED THE POWER STEERING RACK AND THE PUMP PURGE SYSTEM. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 30,000. UPDATED 04/08/15*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALER OFFERED $417.57 OF THE $1,182.40 THE OWNER PAID FOR THE REPAIRS. THE OWNER WOULD LIKE TO BE REIMBURSED THE FULL COST OF REPAIRS. UPDATED 11/4/2015*JS
