Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 FORD TAURUS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT AFTER IGNITING THE VEHICLE, SMOKE WAS COMING FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. IN ADDITION, THE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE.
