Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 NISSAN SENTRA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO START AND THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE VEHICLE LOST ACCELERATION WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE AIR MASS SENSOR. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES AND THE CONTACT WAS MADE AWARE OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 11V579000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE, BUT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
