Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 LAND ROVER LR2. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE GUIDE RAIL OF THE SUNROOF BECAME INOPERABLE. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE RUBBER SEALANT AND THE SUN ROOF FRACTURED. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO CLOSE THE SUN ROOF. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE SUN ROOF NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS AWARE OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 08V055000 (VISIBILITY). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,000.
