Consumer Description

WHEN I SHIFT FROM 1 GEAR TO THE OTHER THERE IS A NOISE AND A JERK. THE RPM ALSO GOES UP VERY HIGH WHEN I TRY TO ACCELERATE AS IF IT IS NOT ABLE TO SHIFT GEARS. IT WON'T SHIFT UNTIL I STOP ACCELERATING. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER THE 1ST TIME AND WAS TOLD THERE IS A RECALL FOR THE ISSUE AND A FLASH WAS SENT TO THE CAR'S COMPUTER. I NOTICED THE ISSUE WAS NOT FIXED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY. I TOOK BACK A 2ND TIME AND TOLD THIS IS TYPICAL OF THIS MODEL AND THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO. I STARTED NOTICING THIS PROBLEM WITH LESS THAN 50,000 MILES ON THE CAR. I CAN IMAGINE THE PROBLEMS I WOULD HAVE LATER. THEN TO BE TOLD THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE IS DISCOURAGING. *TR
