Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 JEEP COMMANDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V438000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR REPAIR. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE PART NEEDED WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE DELAY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL DAILY. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE FASTER THEN THE CURRENT SPEED DURING THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT OPERATED THE VEHICLE WITH ONE KEY IN THE IGNITION SWITCH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED.
