Consumer Description

TL-THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET CORVETTE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHOOK AND VEERED TO THE LEFT. IN ADDITION, THE SERVICE ACTIVE HANDLING SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V251000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM , EXTERIOR LIGHTING) AND THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 10V172000 (STEERING). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000. DJR
