TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 NISSAN MURANO. THE CONTACT STATED THAT DURING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE WITH AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE FUEL TANK WAS LEAKING DUE TO A FAILED SEAL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 06V054000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 211,000.
