TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2001 FORD WINDSTAR. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS BEING SERVICED, AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC DISCOVERED THAT THE REAR AND FRONT SUBFRAMES WERE SEVERELY CORRODED. IN ADDITION, THE FRONT SUBFRAME EXHIBITED A HOLE ON THE DRIVER SIDE AND THE REAR AXLE WAS FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 11V030000 (STRUCTURE), BUT THE SUBFRAMES WERE NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 91,120.
