I WAS TRAVELING AT APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH WHEN THE REAR AXLE OF MY 2006 RAM 1500 LOCKED UP CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO GO INTO A SKID, THEN RELEASED. AFTER DISASSEMBLING THE REAR AXLE, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE PINION NUT HAD BACKED OFF CAUSING THE PINION BEARINGS TO FAIL AND THE PINION SHAFT TO TWIST AND FAIL DUE TO THE EXCESSIVE MOVEMENT OF THE PINION. *TR
