Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE CAUSING A 3-VEHICLE CHAIN COLLISION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THERE WERE TWO INJURIES REPORTED FROM THE OTHER VEHICLES WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED TO A SALVAGE YARD. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000. MAILED OUT 01/13/15*LJ
