Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NUMEROUS RECALLS. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED ACCORDING TO THE RECALLS, BUT THE POWER STEERING FAILURES LISTED IN THE RECALLS RECURRED THE SAME DAY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER STEERING, ELECTRIC MOTOR, AND MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES. THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS WERE UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 123,000.
