Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD F-350. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH, AN ABNORMAL NOISE EMITTED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL AND THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMAL OPERATION. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE DRY WHEEL NEEDED TO BE LUBRICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAILABLE. UPDATED 01/05/14*LJ THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE HAS AN ANTILOCK BRAKING SYSTEM THAT WAS INADVERTENTLY TURNED OFF. THIS HAS HAPPENED WITH OR WITHOUT THE BRAKE PEDAL BEING DEPRESSED. AFTER BEING REPAIRED MULTIPLE TIMES, THE FAILURE RECURRED. UPDATED 05/20/2015 *JS
