Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD F-250. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE ENGINE STALLED AND AN UNKNOWN WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED TWICE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE EGT EXHAUST TEMPERATURE SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000.
