Consumer Description

TL- THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 14V355000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM), BUT WAS NOT ABLE TO DETERMINE WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD BE REPAIRED FOR MONTHS. THE CONTACT CALLED THE AUTHORIZED DEALER SEVERAL TIMES AND THE DEALER DID NOT INDICATE IF THE CONTACT WAS PLACED ON A WAITING LIST NOR DID THEY SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND WAS NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE A REASONABLE TIMEFRAME NOR A SPECIFIC DATE TO SCHEDULE THE REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT WAS NOT EXPERIENCING A FAILURE.
