Consumer Description

STEERING LOCKS UP. WHEN YOU TAKE OFF FROM A STOP SIGN OR TRAFFIC LIGHT AND WANT TO MAKE A RIGHT OR LEFT TURN THE STEERING WILL LOCK UP TO A POINT WHERE YOU CAN'T TURN. THERE HAD BEEN SEVERAL OCCASIONS THAT I WAS ALMOST IN AN ACCIDENT. REPLACED RACK AND PINION 3 TIMES AND POWER STEERING. WATER PUMPS ARE DEFECTIVE, REPLACED 2 BEFORE 100,000 MILES TRANSMISSION WENT OUT AT 73,000 MILES. EVERY ISSUE THAT IS STATED ABOVE THE DEALER DIDN'T WANT TO REPLACE UNDER WARRANTY,EVEN AFTER CONTACTING GM. IT TOOK A LOT OF FIGHTING WITH GM TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION WHEN THERE WAS KNOWN PROBLEMS WITH THESE TRANSMISSIONS BEING FAULTY. *TR
