Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 HYUNDAI SONATA. THE CONTACT STATE THAT THE VEHICLE HESITATED TO START AND ONCE IT DID, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS AND THE HEAD LIGHTS FAILED TO OPERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE BUT NO ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,000.
