Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2007 JEEP COMMANDER. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, FLAMES APPEARED FROM THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE SIGNAL LIGHT. A FIRE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE INSURANCE COMPANY STATED THAT THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE WAS DUE TO FAULTY ELECTRICAL WIRING IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SIGNAL LIGHT. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED MINOR BURNS THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,352.
