Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE TRACTION CONTROL WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY AND A LOUD ABNORMAL NOISE EMITTED WHENEVER THE GEARS WERE SHIFT. ALSO, THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED, THE VEHICLE WOULD ROCK BACK AND FORTH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 78,000.
