TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 FORD FOCUS. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH AND ENGAGING THE BRAKES, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED WITHOUT WARNING. THE FAILURE OCCURRED FOUR TIMES. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15. UPDATED 11/21/14*CN THE CONSUMER ALSO EXPERIENCED A TRANSMISSION SHIFTING PROBLEM. UPDATED 01/08/15
