Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 JEEP COMMANDER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED FROM DRIVE TO THIRD GEAR INDEPENDENTLY. THE TRANSMISSION BECAME STUCK IN THIRD CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO BECOME INOPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE LEFT SOLENOID NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,590. UPDATED 11/14/14*CN UPDATED 4/29/2015 *JS
