Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE ATTEMPTING TO START THE VEHICLE, IT MADE AN ABNORMAL THUMPING SOUND LASTING THIRTY SECONDS. THE PROBLEM RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS THE TAKEN TO A DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE LEFT TEMPERATURE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 37,006.
