TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 TOYOTA YARIS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE REVERSING, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY AND CRASHED INTO A TREE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THERE WAS ONE INJURY REPORTED THAT DID NOT REQUIRE MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN IMPOUND LOT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 51,000.
