Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 NISSAN FRONTIER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE LOW FUEL WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED EVEN THOUGH THE FUEL TANK WAS FULL. THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL WHILE DRIVING UP INCLINES AND HILLS. THE FAILURES OCCURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FUEL LEVEL SENSOR CIRCUIT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 10V075000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
