Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME HARD TO MANEUVER CAUSING THE CONTACT TO LOSE CONTROL AND THE BRAKES FAILED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE ENGINE STALLED IMMEDIATELY AFTER. THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE RESTART BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE A FAILURE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 68,000.
