Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 BUICK LACROSSE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED SEVERAL TIMES. WHILE DRIVING DOWNHILL IN REVERSE, THE FAILURE CAUSED THE CONTACT TO CRASH THE VEHICLE INTO A POLE. THE SPEED WAS UNKNOWN AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V355000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); HOWEVER, THE PARTS NEEDED FOR THE REPAIR WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT WAS PLACED ON A WAITING LIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 43,677.
