Consumer Description

MY TRUCK'S LEFT FRONT WHEEL BEARING SPLIT IN HALF DESTROYING THE ENTIRE LEFT SIDE INCLUDING MY TIRE. I CALLED DAIMLERCHRYSLER AS YOUR WEBSITE SUGGESTED AND GAVE THE CAMPAIGN #07V038000 AND RECALL #G02 AND WAS INFORMED MY TRUCK WAS NOT PART OF THIS RECALL. WHAT HAPPENED WAS EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED ON YOUR RECALL EXCEPT WITHOUT THE NOISE OR VIBRATION. WHAT UPSETS ME THE MOST IS THE RECALL WAS ISSUED 2/2007 THEY KNEW THERE WERE QUESTIONABLE PART INSTALLED. THEY SHOULD WIDEN THE VIN RANGE AFFECTED BY THIS RECALL, LOOKS LIKE THEY MISSED BY AT LEAST ONE. ONE SITE LISTS 86,333 VEHICLES AFFECTED BY THIS RECALL BUT NOT MINE? I AM JUST LUCKY THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN THREE WEEKS FROM NOW AS I AM PULLING A CAMPER ACROSS TENNESSEE WITH MY FAMILY. THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN PROVIDE.
