WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE P0008 ENGINE CODE OCCURRED, CAR WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, MECHANIC STATED ENGINE CODE WAS INDICATED BY CAMSHAFT SENSOR, AND COULD POSSIBLY BE A WORN TIMING CHAIN. THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE ON GM 2.8 AND 3.6 ENGINES AND GM HAS ISSUED A TSB TO EXTEND THE WARRANTY FOR THE TIMING CHAIN TO 120K MILES OR TEN YEARS.
