TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET IMPALA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE DECREASED IN ACCELERATION AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED. IN ADDITION, THE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE STALLED AFTER THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS APPLIED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 100,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 131,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
