Consumer Description
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 PONTIAC G6. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR BRAKE LIGHTS FAILED TO ILLUMINATE HOWEVER, THEY DID ILLUMINATE WHENEVER THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS NOT BEING ENGAGED. THE CONTACT WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER:09V036000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING). THE VEHICLE WAS SCHEDULED FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND TO BE REPAIRED BY AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.
