Consumer Description
MY 2004 CADILLAC XLR APPLIED THE FRONT LEFT BRAKE ONLY AND ILLUMINATED THE STABILITY CONTROL LIGHT CAUSING A BRIEF AND SEVERE SWERVE FOR ABOUT 1 SECOND. I PULLED OVER AND SHUT THE CAR OFF AND RESTARTED. EVERYTHING WAS FINE FOR ABOUT 4 MONTHS WHEN IT DID IT AGAIN, LUCKILY NO ONE IN MY PATH OF TRAVEL. MOST RECENTLY IT DID IT AGAIN ABOUT ONE MONTH AGO , SAME WHEEL, SAME SPEED. I AM VERY MECHANICALLY INCLINED AND PERFORMED A THOROUGH INSPECTION AND I CANNOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING THIS VERY UNSAFE PROBLEM WITH A PRETTY EXPENSIVE CAR! MY CAR NOW HAS JUST ABOUT 18,500 MILES AND I'M WONDERING WHEN IT'LL HAPPEN AGAIN! I WANT TO DRIVE MY CAR AND ENJOY IT BUT, I'M NERVOUS AND I FIND MYSELF GRIPPING THE STEERING WHEEL TIGHTER EVERYTIME I DRIVE IT NOW. *TR
