Consumer Description

ACCIDENT OCCURRED AT SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL ROAD AND WEST 25TH ST. INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA. I WAS DRIVING NORTH INSIDE LANE OF 5 LANE HIGH SCHOOL ROAD. DRIVER AT FAULT CROSSED 2 NORTH BOUND LANES FOR SOUTH BOUND MIDDLE TURNING LANE FROM W 25TH STREET WHICH TEES INTO HIGH SCHOOL ROAD. I BROAD-SIDED DRIVER IN BACK SIDE DOOR/FENDER/TRUNK AREAS. THE AIRBAG EXPLODED AND SHEARED THE SKIN OFF MY RIGHT UNDER ARM. I WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AND CONTINUE RECEIVING TREATMENT FROM MY DOCTOR. THIS CRASH INCIDENT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE TAKATA AIR BAG INVESTIGATION CONDUCTED BY NHTSA AND HONDA SHOULD BE NOTIFIED OF THIS SAFETY DEFECT. *TR UPDATED 1/22/2015 *JS
