Consumer Description

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE RAM 1500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT REPLACED THE KNOCK SENSOR AND THEN THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO REPLACED THE PEDAL POSITIONS SENSOR HOWEVER THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN STATED THAT THE WIRING HARNESS HAD DISINTEGRATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,435.
