Consumer Description

TL * THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 DODGE RAM 1500. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH IN SEVERE RAIN, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS AND TURN SIGNALS FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS, THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS BECAME OPERABLE AGAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH ASSEMBLY. THE FAILURE RECURRED EIGHT MONTHS LATER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 63,000.
